One for all those Frozen fans!

Frozen is very popular with a lot of young musicians at the moment, in particular a number of my violin pupils are avid fans of this Disney film, and it isn't hard to see why! The aesthetic and lovability of the characters aside, the music in this film really is something. Disney seems to have created another musical classic to go with the likes of "The Lion King", "Beauty and the Beast", and "The Jungle Book." The music itself presents a challenge to the young player, and I would certainly not give it to a complete beginner, but I feel an intermediate player would find it an enjoyable and satisfying experience learning to play the music from this film. Here is the wonderful song "Let it go" from Frozen played on the violin by a talented young violinist called Jun Sung Ahh. Enjoy and Merry Christmas!
